Come as you are.Leave closer to Jesus.

A laid-back church for horse people, working people, and anybody who wants the truth of God's Word without the pretense.

The story God is writing

A church withdirt on its boots.

Alvie and Priscilla Walker planted Burning Bush Cowboy Church for people who might never feel at home in a traditional church.

What began as a culturally rooted church plant grew into a close-knit congregation on 42 acres—complete with a barn, a fishing pond, and room for a full-size horse arena. The setting is country. The welcome is easy. The purpose is clear: lift up God and help people grow in faith.

“Our church is made up of horse people, people from the cowboy culture—or people who just like the fact that it's very laid-back, very ‘come as you are.’”— Pastor Alvie Walker
